We need uniform soldiers and period dress ladies help with the Dedication ceremony.

Please contact Tim Pilgrim at 404-456-3393 or timfpilfgrim@yahoo.com for details.

I need your help with the dedication ceremony, please forward the announcement on to your Camp 's list and see if can get a good attendance. We need ladies in the period dress and uniform soldiers to take part in the ceremony. Members and Division Officers of the North Carolina Division will be coming down many of them are re-enactors and they can partipate as well. If any of your members are decentants of the soldiers of the NC 29 & 39 regiments let me know, I think it would be appropiate that they unveil the monument.

Here are my ideas for the cemermony. I believe Commander Bridwell will be able to make the event and the Director of the regional DNR (Department of National Resources) said he will be present to say a few words. I hope the Kennesaw Chapter UDC will be present to particpate and say a few words. Maybe a couple of Cannons and firing squad. There will be SCV NC Division officers who can say a few words in honor of the event. Michael Hardy The historian of the NC Division who drafted the history of the regiments on back of the monument would be a great key note speaker to speak about the regiments. Just throwing those suggestions out there, let me know what you think.
