WBTS symposium April 16 at Morrow Ga
All day on April 16 beginning at
9:00 am, the National Archives at Atlanta (located in Morrow, south of Atlanta)
is having a Civil War Symposium and a display of Civil War artifacts loosely
based on Antiques Roadshow. For full information on the speakers and topics go

Registration is required. The cost is only $20.00 per person for the
day. Fees are non refundable, but substitutions are allowed so someone
could go in your place if something came up. The fees include
Continental breakfast, complimentary lunch, speakers and exhibits in the
afternoon..

Civil War Program at the National Archives
What: To commemorate the 150th anniversary of the
start of the Civil War, the National Archives at Atlanta presents a Civil
War Symposium featuring scholars and historians from leading archival and
academic institutions as well as an exhibit of 19th century African
American newspapers. Following the symposium, the Foundation for the
National Archives, Georgia Public Broadcasting (GPB), and Scott Antique
Markets are proud to sponsor "Civil War Treasures in Your Nation's Attic,"
a display of Civil War artifacts brought by Symposium attendees that will
be filmed by GPB for future broadcast.
